Garden Exploration
INFORMATION
This gardening activity will cover various differing aspects depending on the season. students will learn about the wildlife living in the garden at Fairplay House and how we can help to look after them, by making bird feeders and bug hotels. Discussing how gardens are created on both large and small scales and having the opportunity to draw a layout of a garden. We will also paint an insect themed garden stone. Vegetable growing in small spaces will be explored and after discussing and viewing some examples participants will decorate and make their own recycled plant container. A seasonal vegetable/herb/plant will be planted to take home.
